I-25, Mini Cooper Clubman S

Here's a very short set of clips of a Mini Clubman S on I-25 in Colorado. Shot with a GoPro Hero mounted to a BMW R1200C. I used the suction cup arm attached to the windshield which is less than optimal. It creates a lot of vibration. I mellowed the shakes out with Mercalli stabilization software.

The music is by my old band "The Fringe" in Connecticut. Performance credits go to Sultani Trip for the guitar solo, Mark Pozzi on the drums, Craig Welton on Bass, and myself on the acoustic guitar.

Eastern Fog in Windsor Colorado

Today, www.streetsofdenver.com celebrates 10,000 visitors! Thanks for the visits and comments. We appreciate it.

Things have been really busy lately so I had to pull a photo from the archives this morning.

Summer of 2008 had some unusually foggy mornings; this was one of them. Nikon CoolPix 5400.

Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. It was a rainy day and the rocks are more vivid when wet. They offer a pretty cool rock climbing trek and entry to the park is free to the public! Get more info here; Garden of the Gods, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Looking Forward to Car Show Season

With kids, work, and all the other things in life it is hard to get away. This season I'm going to try harder to catch more shows! Here are a few choice selections from the Good Guys Auto Show in Loveland Colorado. The pics were taken around the Budweiser Events Center, Summer 2010. The autocross was exceptionally fun to watch that day; '55 Nomads and cones!

1975 Chevy Van 10

Home sweet home. A lively, quirky, chevyvan 10 with a rebuilt 350 ci V8 and a turbo 350 tranny. The cantankerous flywheel and starter would literally have us all on the ground sometimes. It was a special truck 'cause I could live in it; and did.
Industrial strength, two seats, minimum windows, no frills, no MPG, and no... I can't help you move. This beast trekked from one side of the country to the other and back, hauling gear, guitars, and a bunch of long-haired music freaks.

Good times.
