2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins

A shot of the Dodge Ram 2500 camping off Dead Man Hill Road in Red Feather, Colorado. The Cummins High Output diesel and 6 speed manual make light work of towing just about anything.

Taken with an old Windows Phone. I just like how surreal the low-res pic turned out. It's a little "Monet", if you get my meaning...

The Fantastic Bocar XP-5

Here's a vintage automobile ad from the Denver area. The Bocar was a corvette-powered car manufactured in Lakewood, Colorado from 1957 - 1961. The car could be purchased as complete unit or in a variety of unfinished stages. The XP-5 was the fifth iteration of Bob Carnes design. Made from a conglomeration of parts, including Chevy, VW, and Jaguar, the Bocar would have stood up next to modern super cars for performance.

Testing GoPro HD on BMW R1200C

Another test drive on the BMW R1200C around the area with the GoPro HD camera. This time set on r4 and mounted in a different location using the suction cup again; left side of the windshield and lower. I'm not in love with the vibration transmitted to the camera through the mount. I will try hard mounting it to the crash bars in the near future. Also, with the wide angle lens, it is rough to get a close up of anything you are riding by or near.

There is a quick shot of a parked CanAm Spyder and a Harley. There is also a drive by of Bruce's Saloon in Severance, famous worldwide for its Rocky Mountain Oysters. Three varieties available; Beef, Buffalo, and Turkey. Yum.

The soundtrack is "Binaca Breath" and "Come Back" by velkro kitty (c) 1993, 1995 Pete Deichmann, Jim Favero, Paul McCormick.

Electric Motorcycle in Colorado Springs

I spotted this hand engineered Electric Motorcycle in Colorado Springs after having lunch at the Peak Grill. Good place to eat and as a bonus I found this strange gem sitting right outside. I was on my way back to work so I didn't have time to find the owner. If anyone knows anything about this ride I'd like to post details. Please leave a comment if you know where to find more info!

Looks like the lean angle may be a little hindered

That is a lot of batteries!

Chip Yates rode a home made electric bike up Pikes Peak not too long ago.

Colorado Winter Mountain Bike Ride

Good times on the trail. Here are two beautiful shots from Golden Colorado in North Table Mountain Park. These were taken by Steven Pon, a good friend, and maniac biker! This is Steven's Salsa Mukluk mountain bike up to its rims in snow and winter slop. Check out the Husker Du 45NRTH tires on that beast. Meats! He said he had to use his lights on the ride home; it gets dark fast in Colorado this time of year.

Beautiful panoramic sunset from the top of North Table Mountain

Sunset on the top of the mountain means a dark trail on the way home.
