1928 Ford AA

Here's a beautiful little '28 Ford AA own and shown by Jim Madsen of Craig, Colorado. A really cool truck in great condition with patina in all the right places. I completely dig the little 4 cylinder in it.

Looks happy to be off the farm and relaxing in the park.

Tumbleweed Crusher at the Wild Animal Sanctuary

We did a little volunteer work at the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, Colorado a couple of weeks ago. Aside from the obvious lions, and tigers, and bears... (we'll let George Takei finish that off). I caught a few pics of their specialized tumbleweed masher and safari vehicle. Nice truck, I wonder if this is a rescue too?

The Pawnee Grasslands

Pawnee National Grasslands is a wilderness area in Northeastern Colorado. Wide open views abound to the extent that the curvature of the Earth seems apparent. It offers some good campsites and a camping experience that is a little different.  A small area for OHV use is available as well as areas for target shooting. There is also the Lee and Dorothy Rhodes Farm Implement Museum to browse through.
